Document analysis
- You paste text or extract text from a PDF in your browser. For PDFs, extraction happens on your device; the PDF file itself is not uploaded to our servers.
- That text is sent over HTTPS to our servers, then over HTTPS to the AI service (Grok / xAI) so we can generate a summary, flags, and answers.
- Results are returned to you over HTTPS. Traffic is encrypted in transit. This is not end-to-end encryption — the systems that analyze the document must read the text to produce a result.
How we use document text
- Document text is used to fulfill your analysis request (summary, flags, follow-up questions, and optional reports you export).
- NexusDocs is built for analysis, not as a long-term document archive or encrypted vault. We do not operate a permanent library of customer documents.
- Use of the AI provider is also subject to xAI’s terms and privacy policy.
Data retention
- Document text is processed for your analysis request. We do not operate a permanent customer document library.
- Account, usage, and billing-related data may be retained while your account is active and as needed for billing, security, and legal requirements.
- Payment cards are handled by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Analysis text is also subject to our AI provider’s policies.

Account and service data
- If you sign in, we process information needed to run the service (such as email, login, usage/credits, and plan status).
- Payments are handled by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.
Analytics and cookies
- Public pages use Google Analytics (measurement ID G-5D49483KHV) to see which pages are visited.
- Analytics may collect the page URL, referrer, browser, device type, and a client identifier. It may set cookies or similar storage.
- Analytics does not receive the document text you paste or extract for analysis. That text goes to our servers and to xAI (Grok), not to Google Analytics.
- You can block cookies in your browser. Google’s use of this data is described in Google’s privacy policy.
Data security
- Connections between your browser, our servers, and the AI service use HTTPS encryption in transit.
- We aim to collect only what is needed to provide and improve the service (for example, account and usage information).
What these tools are not
TermsGuard, CoverClear, and BillClear explain documents. They are not a law firm, insurance company,
medical provider, or billing department. Output is AI-generated and for informational purposes only.
