Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By accessing or using NexusDocs.ai and its tools — including TermsGuard, CoverClear, and BillClear (together, the “Service”) — you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

NexusDocs.ai provides AI-powered tools that help users summarize and ask questions about documents such as contracts, terms of service, privacy policies, insurance policies, and medical bills or related billing documents. The Service is for informational purposes only.

3. Not professional advice

Output from the Service is generated by artificial intelligence and may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. The Service is not a law firm, insurance company, medical provider, or billing department. Output is not legal, insurance, medical, or billing advice and is not a substitute for a qualified professional, your insurer, or the provider’s billing office. You are solely responsible for decisions made using the Service.

4. Accounts

You need an account to use the analysis tools. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information when you register or sign in (including via supported third-party login providers, such as X / Twitter or others we enable).

5. Plans, credits, and payments

• Free and paid plans (including subscriptions and pay-as-you-go credits) may be offered.
• Credits and plan limits may apply across TermsGuard, CoverClear, and BillClear under one NexusDocs account, unless we state otherwise.
• Paid features are billed through our payment processor (e.g. Stripe).
• Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or stated otherwise at purchase.
• We may change pricing or plan limits with reasonable notice for ongoing subscriptions.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful purposes
• Attempt to abuse, reverse engineer, or disrupt the Service
• Upload or paste content you do not have the right to process
• Resell or misuse access beyond your plan
• Rely on the Service as the sole basis for legal, insurance, medical, or financial decisions

7. Your content

You retain rights to documents and text you submit. You grant us permission to process that content solely to provide the Service (for example, sending text to the AI provider to generate a response). We do not claim ownership of your documents. How document text is handled is described further in our Privacy Policy.

Data retention

• Document text for analysis. Document text is processed to fulfill your analysis request (summary, flags, questions, and optional exports you generate). NexusDocs is not operated as a permanent library of customer documents. We do not provide a long-term document storage product.
• Account and usage data. If you create an account, we retain information needed to operate the Service, such as email, authentication details, plan or credit balance, and related usage records, for as long as your account is active and as needed for billing, security, abuse prevention, and legal obligations.
• Payment data. Payment card details are handled by our payment processor (e.g. Stripe). We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers. Billing records may be retained as required for accounting and tax purposes.
• Logs and security. We may retain limited technical logs (for example, request metadata or error logs) for a limited period to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Service.
• AI provider. Text sent for analysis is also subject to the retention and privacy practices of our AI provider (including xAI / Grok), under their terms and policies.
• Account deletion. If you want account-related data removed, use our contact form. We will handle requests as required by applicable law and as practical for backups and legal retention.

8. Privacy

Our handling of data is described in our Privacy Policy. Please read it carefully.

9. AI providers

Document analysis is performed using third-party AI services (including xAI / Grok). Use of those services is also subject to their applicable terms and policies.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT RESULTS WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR ERROR-FREE.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEXUSDOCS.AI AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms. The “Last updated” date will be revised when changes are made.
